PRESS RELEASE - November 15, 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

emsCharts Software Adds EMS Certification Tracker Module

New functionality included with base software package

West Mifflin, Pennsylvania – November 15, 2006 – emsCharts, Inc. today released their new EMS Certification Tracker module as an added functionality for their web-based, pre-hospital data collection and management system.

By popular demand, emsCharts, Inc. has added the ability for EMS providers to keep track of their clinical and professional certifications that are often required for them to perform their jobs.  Keeping certifications current is often a difficult task for EMS providers to organize, due to the number of certifications and the frequency of necessary re-certification.  The emsCharts Certification Tracker will make this process easy by providing tools such as user alerts and reminders, and compliance reporting tools for administrators.

The new Certification Tracker module not only monitors certifications from an administrative standpoint, but it also allows EMS providers to record classes taken in order to tabulate required continuing education units.

“This functionality is something that our customers have been asking for.” says emsCharts President, John Massie.  “We’re happy to be able to provide it for them.”  Customer requested functions often find their way into the emsCharts software – a practice that emsCharts has upheld since its inception.

“The exciting part is that we’re providing this module as a part of our base software package,” Vice President Pete Goutmann says of the Certification Tracker.  “Current customers and new customers alike will be able to use this module at no extra charge.”

emsCharts, Inc. helped to pioneer real-time and electronic data collection with the use of the web to connect first responders with hospitals and reporting agencies; thus expediting the entire process and leaving more time to focus on patients’ needs.  emsCharts, Inc. also offers mobile, offline versions of their web product.
