PRESS RELEASE - July 11, 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

emsCharts Software Intellectual Property Rights Purchased

Former managers from within company now form emsCharts, Inc.

West Mifflin, Pennsylvania – July 11, 2006 – Two former managers for emsCharts software are pleased to announce that they have purchased the intellectual property rights to the emsCharts suite programs and have formed emsCharts, Incorporated.  John Massie and Pete Goutmann, now President and Vice President of emsCharts, Inc., purchased the Intellectual Property rights for the software from the Center for Emergency Medicine, former parent company for the emsCharts suite of software products.  emsCharts, Inc. provides the emergency medical industry with electronic, web-based patient data collection and management solutions.  Mr. Goutmann was responsible for the original development of the emsCharts suite of products in 1996.

The formation of emsCharts, Inc., which was effective May 1, 2006, brings recognition to the company in that it now shares its name with the suite of products that it offers.  The hub of the software suite - emsCharts.com – provides emergency medical services with online access to data management tools.

“We feel that this is a move that marks our growth and independence in the pre-hospital data industry,” says John Massie of the name change.  “Our customers should continue to expect the same quality products and personal service that they’ve come to know as emsCharts customers.  Our goal with this change is to build on our foundations of success by further improving our products and services to exceed their expectations.”

In the past, pre-hospital care providers such as EMTs used pen and paper to complete lengthy and detailed pre-hospital reports in the field.  emsCharts helped to pioneer real-time and electronic data collection with the use of the Web to connect first responders with hospitals and state and local reporting agencies; thus expediting the entire process and leaving more time to focus on patients’ needs.  emsCharts, Inc. also offers mobile, offline versions of their web product.  For more information about the company and products, go to www.emsCharts.com.
