PRESS RELEASE - October 21, 2012 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
emsCharts Announces Enhanced Features for Critical Care Transport Enhancements to current product unveiled to CCT User Group at AMTC in Seattle

Seattle, Washington - October 21, 2012 - At the annual Air Medical Transport Conference (AMTC), emsCharts revealed new and updated features geared specifically toward their air medical and ground critical care transport customers. The enhancements are the result of months of cooperation between the emsCharts software development team and the independently directed emsCharts Critical Care Transport (CCT) User Group.

Over the past several months, emsCharts provided development resources to conduct research meetings with representatives from the CCT User Group. The discussions resulted in a number of new and improved critical care features in the emsCharts product line. During a two-hour session at the annual Air Medical Transport Conference, this year held in Seattle, Adam Mihlfried, emsCharts Director of Software Development, demonstrated many of these features. "The ventilator window has been completely redesigned; users can now record imaging results;
and labs, fluids, and pediatric/neonatal sections all have new features," Mihlfried said of a few of the enhancements. "There are more suggestions, along with NEMSIS v3 updates, that we are working on for the first quarter of 2013."

emsCharts staff on hand in Seattle praised the time and effort that the independent CCT User Group had committed to the project. Several members of the User Group were in attendance to view the demonstration, address questions, and guide discussion for possible future updates.

Pete Goutmann, President of emsCharts, Inc. commented, "This type of user-driven product development is what keeps our fingers on the pulse of customers' needs in an ever-changing industry." Goutmann then referenced Pediatric and Neonatal enhancements launched in July 2010, also directed by customer requests. "User input is, and always has been, a vital component of our development plan."
