emsCharts Announces New Products at Annual User Conference
Fire Module, Tablet Application, Improved Analytics, and Enhanced Tablet Experience Coming to emsCharts

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - May 19, 2016 - Today during the 2016 emsCharts Annual User Conference, emsCharts, Inc. announced a variety of new products and enhancements to its current product line.

The new emsCharts products include a state-of-the-art fire module, a native tablet application, an improved analytics platform, and an enhanced User Interface (UI) on both the web and mobile platforms. Pete Goutmann, President and Chief Technology Officer at emsCharts, also demonstrated the newly redesigned user interface of the emsCharts Web Application, their flag-ship ePCR product.

"The new emsCharts Web Application is designed with the end user in mind, and is focused on simplifying the reporting process and eliminating redundant data entry," said Mr. Goutmann. "We are also pleased to announce the release of the emsCharts Fire Module; a brand new product dedicated to NFIRS reporting requirements for both EMS and Fire programs. The new software integrates directly with the emsCharts ePCR and utilizes a single log-in for both platforms."

In addition to announcing the new Web interface and the Fire module, Pete also demonstrated the increased functionality of the Status Board that was debuted at last year's emsCharts User Conference. The Status Board allows EMS providers to communicate bi-directionally with regional Emergency Departments. emsCharts also previewed the emsCharts Tablet module, a native application that supports both iOS and Android tablets. At the conclusion of the product-roadmap discussion, the team demonstrated updates to the emsCharts Analytics and Reporting modules, as well as the recently enhanced HL7 product which is currently in production at several hospital systems across the country. The goal of all of these products is to continue to reduce time spent during patient transfer and simplify continuity of care, which will ultimately improve patient outcomes.

"The investment in product development is resulting in new functionality that is now available to our current and future emsCharts customers," said Mr. Goutmann. "We are pleased to be one of the leading cloud-based ePCR solutions for the medical transport industry and look forward to expanding our customer base throughout the country."
